Books & Brews Meets Every Third Tuesday of the Month

The event is free and open to the public. This book club meets the 4th Friday of every month at the East Branch Library, 115 Broadway in Somerville from 11AM to 12:30PM.

Feminist Book Club

Join the Somerville Commission for Women and Somerville Public Library's Feminist Book Club. Read classic and contemporary feminist literature and come prepared to discuss. All are welcome to join! Mystery Book Club

The Mystery Book Group for the Somerville Public Library meets on the last Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at the Central Library (79 Highland Ave) from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Conference Room.

Romance Book Club

Are you ready for romance?

Between the Covers is a social book group for readers ages 21+ that focuses on the romance genre. We meet at The Dark Horse Public House (located at 499 Broadway in Somerville, MA) on the first Tuesday of each month, so mark your calendars and get ready to fall in love with a book or two!

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Club welcomes new members. 

We usually, though not always, meet on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm.

SPL Supper Club: A Cookbook Book Club

The SPL Supper Club is a cookbook book club that meets from 7-8:30pm on the last Monday of each month for a potluck dinner party at Remnant Brewing, 2 Bow Market Way. Pick a dish to make and share! Print copies of the book are available at all three Somerville Public Library locations. The event is free, open to the public, and handicapped accessible.
