We’re getting a new catalog! Somerville Public Library, along with the other members of the Minuteman Library Networks, is moving into the future with a new, easier-to-use library catalog. New features include:
- Easy browsing! Scroll through book covers of new books, bestsellers, as well as topical staff-selected subjects
- Different editions of the same book are grouped together so you can find them more easily
- Easier list management! Create your own “to read” list. And your reading history – if you turn it on – will now include titles from Libby and Hoopla!
- See where you are on the holds list for a popular titles

- To access your account, click Sign In on the menu bar in the upper right and enter your library card and existing password. Your account information displays on the left.
- If you don’t have a password, you can set up one now by clicking Reset My Password
- If you used lists in the old catalog, import them now in Your Lists
- Want to save your reading history? Click Reading History to turn it on
- Click Browse on the menu bar to enjoy the new browse by cover feature
