Class Visits

Visits often include an introduction to the Library, a tour of different departments, and an overview of the Library’s collections. To ask for details or schedule a visit, please contact Kyle Coston at kcoston@somervillema.gov 

You can also arrange to have your students get library cards during your class visit. If you would like to arrange that, we require a minimum of 3 weeks advance notice of your visit.

Book Lists

If you would like help providing booklists on certain topics, please contact us! You can contact our head of teen services, Kyle Coston at kcoston@somervillema.gov, or call the Teen Room at 617-623-50000 ext2936

Local History Room Visits

Research Assistance

We are always happy to help students with their research! Just direct them to the library, where our teen and reference librarians will be happy to help them find the information they need.
