Teens

All youth between the ages of 13 and 18 are welcome to the Teen Room, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, ability, or immigration status. The Teen Room is just for you*.
We can help you find what you’re looking for, whether it’s resources for a school project (opens new tab) or the next book you want to read (opens new tab) for fun. And every month, we host special programs and events for teens. Come see us!
You can reach the Teen Room by calling 617-623-5000 x2936. Want to email a staff member? Reach out to Niki, Head of Teen Services, at nbavar@somervillema.gov (opens new window).
*Everyone is welcome to browse the collection and look for specific materials, but teens and their guests are given priority for seating and computers in the Teen Room.
