Proctoring is available for free through the Reference Department at our Central Branch, located on 79 Highland Ave in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Reference librarians are able to proctor while working at their public service desk, and therefore, cannot be exclusively responsible for direct supervision of an exam.
Exams are proctored by whichever librarian is working at the Reference desk at the time the exam is scheduled.
Students are responsible for keeping track of their time during a proctored exam.
We are unable to enforce restrictions of personal belongings, including cell phones, laptops, and textbooks.
