Citizenship Class

Citizenship classes are cancelled on April 4, April 11, April 18, April 25, and May 2.

In partnership with St. Mark Community Education Program, Somerville Public Library will be hosting a FREE 12-week Citizenship Class in the Auditorium at Central Library (79 Highland Avenue).  Spring Classes will begin on Saturday, March 7 and run through Saturday, May 23.  Classes are on Saturdays from 9:30-12:30.  

This class will prepare students for all parts of their Citizenship interview: literacy test, 100 questions about U.S. history and government, as well as, help with improving speaking and listening abilities in English.

Requirements: Basic Level English & Legal Permanent Resident for 5 years (3 years if married to a U.S. Citizen)
