Adult Summer Reading 2025
This year's Summer Reading theme is Level Up at Your Library! We will be taking it one step further for our reading challenge with the theme Level Up in Your Community!
This year, we'll be doing a Bingo Challenge with tasks encouraging you to participate in your community! (Along with reading-related challenges, of course!) Participants will get the chance to enter raffles for three prizes: 2 Complimentary Somerville Theater tickets, All She Wrote Books gift card ($50), and Yego Coffee gift card ($50)!
The challenge runs from Monday, June 16th until Saturday, August 16th.
How Do I Get Started?
Starting June 16th, stop by any Somerville Public Library Location to pick up a bingo card. You can also download it below as a PDF to print.
What are the rules?
1. Come to any Somerville Public Library location to pick up your Adult Summer Reading bingo card or print one from this page starting June 16th.
2. Mark your card to indicate you've finished a given bingo square as you progress. Be creative! One book may cross off many squares!
3. Each time you fill out a full line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal), bring your bingo card to any SPL location to claim a raffle ticket for one of three prizes: Somerville Theater tickets, All She Wrote Books gift card, or Yego Coffee gift card.
4. If you cross off every sqaure on the card, bring it to any SPL location and fill out 10 raffle tickets to enter for any prize of your choosing.
5. Raffle tickets must be submitted by August 16th. The raffle winners will be announced the week of August 17.
