Word Processing, Spreadsheets, & Desktop Publishing The Somerville Public Library offers a number of computers featuring the Microsoft Office 2000 suite for public use in Wellington Hall - two as stand alone word processing only machines, and others that offer word processing also on machines that are primarily for internet use. Additional word processing computers are available in the Audio-Visual department. Programs available include: Word 2000A word processing program that allows you to create documents such as letters, reports, and résumés. Excel 2000A program for creating spreadsheets and analyzing data. Publisher 2000A desktop publishing program for creating publications such as flyers, brochures, and newsletters. Access 2000A program for creating and managing databases.
