Kids of all ages are invited to join "Build a Better World,"  the 2017 Collaborative Summer Library Program!  You can sign up at any Somerville Public Library location.

Reading Club Rules

  1. READ!
  2. Make sure you report your reading to a librarian once a week.
  3. Don't forget to bring your folder to your weekly check-in.
  4. Write down the title of every book or magazine that you read.  If it takes you a while to read your book, write down the chapters you've completed.
  5. Pick up your reading certificates!

Central Library: Readers who check in at least two times during the summer will receive a certificate and be invited to the Reading Club Awards Pizza Party on Thursday August 17th at 3:00 p.m.

West Branch Library: Readers who check in at least two times during the summer will receive a certificate and a Build a Better World Backpack, available beginning August 14th.

East Branch Library: Readers who check in at least once during the summer will receive a certificate.  Readers who check in at least two times during the summer will receive a Build a Better World Backpack.  Readers who check in at least three times during the summer will receive a book!  Awards can be picked up beginning on August 11th.
