Hours & Directions
Keep in mind that the library is closed on all state and federal holidays, and closed on Sundays during summer.
Please note that Wellington Hall (the main reading room on the 2nd floor of the Central Library) begins closing earlier than the 9:00 p.m. deadline, in order to give staff time to close down machines, make sure all library patrons are off the floor, shut off the lights, etc. All Wellington machines (computers, printers, photocopiers, etc.) are shut off at 8:50 p.m., and the floor is closed at 8:55 p.m. The Reference staff will go around 5-15 mins before 8:55pm and alert patrons that the floor will be closing. All patrons wishing to check out books, movies, cds or other materials materials should take these to the 1st floor Circulation desk well ahead of 9:00 p.m. so that the Circulation staff can process them before closing. 9:00 p.m. is when the library actually closes, with all loan processing completed, patrons out of the building, the doors locked, and the alarm set.
