To use NetLibrary's Recorded Books electronic audiobooks service, which allows you to download an audiobook to your desktop computer or to an MP3 player for mobile listening (can only download AT HOME, not at library), you need to register or log in with your Somerville library card by clicking on the following address:

http://www.mln.lib.ma.us/electronic/somerville.htm

This will take you to a page where you will be able to authenticate as a Somerville resident and you will then be presented with a link to register for Recorded Books, or a link to log in if you are already registered.

Only patrons who are residents of Somerville (as determined by the code in the Library's record for your card) will be granted access to Recorded Books from this link.
