The Somerville Public Library is committed to providing easy access, adaptive technology, and other resources to individuals with disabilities. The Library offers a variety of devices to assist people who have low vision and people who are hearing-impaired. These include: LP Windows with Speech

This software serves as an aid to computer users with low vision. It provides screen magnification on an extra large monitor. It also offers users the option of translating text into speech (users wear earphones).

  • And a hand held magnifier
  • And a Toshiba 2005 TV VCR DVD Model MW20F51 with headphones.
    Headphones available for use with Internet computers in Wellington Hall of the Main Library
