The Computer Lab is located on the second floor just across from the Reference Desk, where you can use for free:

• Fourteen computers with free access to the Internet
• Two computers provide access to Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Access
• Several computers just for searching the Minuteman Catalog

Internet computer signup is completely automated. All you need is a library card (obtainable quickly at Circulation desk with picture ID and proof of current address) and you can sign yourself in. You can also call the Reference Desk (617-623-5000) and make a reservation for the same day or the next day; but you must have your library card number when you call. For using just the two word processors, you can stop by the Reference Desk, and sign up for these there. All Internet time slots are 1 hour long. If you need help with the computers, the Reference staff is here to help you.
