If so, you may be eligible through the Earned Income Credit (EIC) or the
Child Tax Credit (CTC) to get cash
back from the IRS!
*If you did not
live with any children in 2007, and you earned less than $12,590 (or $14,590 if
you are married), you could get an EIC up to $428.
*If you lived with
one child in 2007 and your family earned less than $33,241 (or $35,241 if you
are married), you could get an EIC up to $2,853.
*If you lived with
two or more children in 2007 and your family earned less than $37,783 (or $39,783
if you are married) you could get an EIC up to $4,716.
*Claim even more
credits! If you earned more than $11,750 in 2007 and can claim a child under
the age of 17 as a dependent, you may be eligible for the Child Tax Credit
(CTC)– up to $1,000 for each child.
